I am offering my art for sale on the BlueThumb website  so that it is easy to purchase in a professional manner.

I can show my work in a gallery environment - buy with confidence, and with even some 'easy buy' options.  All work has a COA (certificate of authenticity). My work is sent from me personally, but BlueThumb handles all the details.

I currently have 24 artworks on this site, and even though it is a site for Australian artists, their sales Internationally are expanding rapidly.

They have help for collectors, and other advice.

For sale: watercolour SFA - Entanglement - Lilac Conehead Daisies.

"Entanglement" I've just listed my painting of lilac conehead daisies on Bluethumb. Although a site for Australian Artists, it does sell internationally. I successful sold an acrylic painting of a Corella just a week ago, and was delighted. The art is sold unframed. This photo is my idea of how it could look, framed, etc.

To my surprise, and a flash of white, it spread a wing, and took off to freedom into the blue skies filled with whispy clouds. The title for the painting came to me, and knew I had to then painting it. Just was with people "Sometimes you have to let go" ...

"Addiction" Chocolate and love - illustration for Bonzer magazine.

I had to do an illustration for a magazine 'Bonzer!'.
I was given the theme 'Addiction'.
The release is for the month of February.
Seemed obvious to apply Valentines theme - CHOCOLATE and LOVE!
True addictions. *grin*

Tuscan Landscapes - watercolor dollshouse miniature paintings

Now to today...
I had to 'babysit' a gallery, and so sat & did 4 miniatures. I was going to stick with the Paris/20s fashion theme, but my eye was caught by a Tuscan image in the gallery, and did 2 quick minis with this theme. More fun!
I was pleased with the result. I like these little fun works. I do much more 'serious' works in miniature so this is just a light-hearted approach that I'm wanting to do for the time being.

But I'm also longing to get back to my usual detailed work at some stage.
I will be putting these up on ebay over the next few days.

Pink rose painting - Acrylic 6"x12"

Just finished this one yesterday - the 3rd rose I've done in the past month. This one is 6x12" on canvas - a slightly odd shape, but, as such, it's eye-catching.

Here I go again - re-vamp!

I'm revamping my site! I hope to gain more sales from it, so that I can progress as an artist.

What was totally new and fun to add was the 'MINIATURE GALLERY' ... this is a room (a shop), like a dolls house. I'm building it to store some of my miniature art in. Please visit my site and take a look.

Here's my latest book cover illustration!

Well, here is the next book cover in this series of murder mysteries. I did a full tomato instead of a cut one, but it didn't work, being greyscale, so then I decided to cut it. Originally submitted the cover with just vegetables on it, as per a previous cover, but then decided that even with a dagger it still wouldn't be dramatic enough to spell out 'murder' - so I then decided on the lifeless hand in some sort of farm field suggested environment (the murder happened on an organic farm, hence the title).

2am, and I have to be up just after 6am!

Website re-vamp!

Well ... I'm into a MAJOR re-vamp of my site. (www.JillianCrider.com)
Took off my shopping cart from my 'shop'. Original art, prints & CDRoms etc will NOW be linked direct to PayPal, but opened a gift shop for items that have my art printed on them.

I've heard great reports about the great quality of these! Other artist's doing this report slow sales, but, hey! sales were slow before, and set up of printing costs too much! I LOVE being able to do this ... though you will have to bear with me as I put up my print items, each image to process and upload, etc takes time. So, if you're looking ... come back later for more!
Changed my front page, switching art on it around and showing new art.
Busy!
No wonder I don't seem to get any actual ART done!
