My latest dollhouse scale original miniature painting (seascape).

MINIATURE: Original watercolor painting. "Drifting" 1:12 scale. 2x1.5" A peaceful and beautiful colored scene of a tethered dinghy in a marina with gentle reflections. I painted it for the peaceful scene. But ended up loving it for the colors. A great addition to a room box, dollhouse, miniature display or even framed for your walls in a SFA collection.
Artist: Jillian Crider.

New miniature watercolor painting - dollhouse size.

This painting is 2" x 1.5" approximately, and an original watercolor painting. One of my favorite subjects and past times. "It's a tradition - scones, jam, cream and tea." Would look lovely in any dollhouse or miniature setting, such as a room box - such as a tea room or cafe, especially English inspired. It's currently available on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291220887065?

The trials and tribulations of painting in small sizes ...

Many of my paintings are miniature, and, as such, they can go 'missing' easily. This one, a watercolor, "North Adelaide Roses" has been out of sight and out of mind for quite some years.
I'm now offering it for sale on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291219887420?
It would fit nicely into any dollhouse or miniature room box setting.
1:12 scale, sold framed, size of art is approximately 1.75 x 1.5". There are lots of tiny details in this work.

A new ACEO watercolor painting. Fluffy cat on a vintage doorstep.

Just finished this original watercolor painting. It's an ACEO (sized always at 2.5x3.5"). I love doing art this size, it helps to really concentrate on the essentials.

I was looking at the door of an old building, when I saw I was being watched back. This fluffy cat made a lovely subject for this painting.

Thank you for looking.

I have it listed on eBay - HERE

Adirondack Chair - Lake of the Woods, Oregon - miniature watercolor painting.

I'm still trying to find time to do my dollhouse miniature paintings. This past week I managed to do this one of a bright red Adirondack Chair with matching geraniums at Lake of the Woods resort in Oregon. It's watercolor, 2" x 1.5"

I have 5 others currently listed on eBay.

And now, 3 more little paintings - dollhouse size original watercolors.

Yesterday, and today I've just completed 3 more miniature dollhouse (1:12 scale) paintings. All original watercolors from local scenes. 2" x 1 1/2" approximately.

I've listed them on eBay - you'll find them HERE

This one is "Wash Day" a very old colonial ranch house a few miles from me.

I also have very good news for collectors. A frame maker I have dealt with for over 10 years, who specializes in miniature frames is working with me to offer frames for these new works of mine. Anyone who buys from me will be given this contact information. When I was collecting miniatures, trying to frame them was very difficult until I found someone.

Anyway - take a look at my 3 newest.
"Wash Day"
"The Secluded Garden"
"On Hidden Pond" Anyone in the Rogue Valley happen to know where they these locations are? The valley has such a treasure trove of wonderful, picturesque places.

2 more little paintings - miniature art for dollhouses.

I'm enjoying doing some miniature dollhouse paintings. I'm sticking with 2" x 1.5" format, in watercolors. I have reconnected with a wonderful lady who can be contacted for frames for them. I did two more this past week, that is all I had time for. A local garden that caught my eye, with a 'wheelbarrow' full of flowers being hit by wonderful sunshine ("Fun In The Sun"). And an old pump house from one of the many nearby pear orchards. I still have one romantic beach scene that didn't sell from the past week. You can see my latest miniature paintings listed HERE on eBay. Thank you for looking. ~Jillian

Paris, Art Deco woman, fashion, poodle - miniature painting dollhouse size - 1:12 scale.

dollhouse, 1:12 scale, miniature painting, artist Jillian Crider, original art, Paris, Art Deco, fashoin lady with poodle,
With the new year, decided to go with an Art Deco theme and stick with minis as didn't want to devote days to just one painting. And wanted to have fun with my art.
The result was this miniature (dollhouse 1:12 scale) which just completed being sold on eBay for $22.52. Watercolour.
I was really pleased as there were multiple bids on it, as well as many viewers.
It just came together. I decided to do an art deco fashion lady. She looked lonely, so I decided to add a dog. A poodle just seemed to be the choice to go with.
Then for fun decided to take it further by setting it in Paris.
My miniature paintings can be viewed on my website, in 'Galleries'.

So, guess that is why I decided to do some more! ...

Here I go again - re-vamp!

I'm revamping my site! I hope to gain more sales from it, so that I can progress as an artist.

What was totally new and fun to add was the 'MINIATURE GALLERY' ... this is a room (a shop), like a dolls house. I'm building it to store some of my miniature art in. Please visit my site and take a look.
