SALE: Miniature art gold frames x2.
The oval opening is for 2.5x3" it says, but not sure of the accuracy of that. The frames exterior dimensions are 4 3/8 x 4 1/8" approximately. And the width of the frame is approximately 3/8" thick.
That thickness does NOT include the easel back. Backed with black paper. I have successfully removed the easel back, and covered it with paper to enter my paintings in miniature art society exhibitions. They appear to be a light-weight wood, so easy to add screws or hanging ring to the back to comply with show rules.
The gold finish is a very bold gold under some light, it is crackled/antiqued somewhat, but muted. It is not an all-over flat gold finish. The cold is definitely metallic in appearance. The focus would be on the art, not on the frame. I do love these. They are NOT a matching pair.
Buy securely through PayPal (button below).
Both for $13.00 USD
PRIORITY SHIPPING $5.95
Sorry, this listing is for continental US buyers only.
If you're located somewhere else, please contact me and maybe something can be arranged. I've been burned by USPS rates for things going outside continental US, lately. Thank you.

My latest dollhouse scale original miniature painting (seascape).
MINIATURE: Original watercolor painting. "Drifting" 1:12 scale. 2x1.5" A peaceful and beautiful colored scene of a tethered dinghy in a marina with gentle reflections. I painted it for the peaceful scene. But ended up loving it for the colors. A great addition to a room box, dollhouse, miniature display or even framed for your walls in a SFA collection.

A painting that has seen the world.
This has been tucked away, but I finally got my act together to list it on eBay. "Old Station Cat" has quite a story to tell.
The subject is a very elderly and scruffy cat that investigated me while taking photos of his home. An old country railway station that is now converted into a home, but with a lot of old station features, like a ticket office and more.
I painted him in quite fine detail, in acrylics. It was my first foray into painting 'miniature' according to specifications from the Australian Society of Miniature Artists. The painting is 4"x 3" approximately - now much larger than the miniatures I usually do. It was ultimately selected to tour galleries in Europe (Germany), United Kingdom, and Australia. So it went on quite a journey, lasting well over a year. No sooner had it returned to me, than it moved with me to the U.S.A and has been shown in a few galleries - both east coast (Georgia) and west coast (Oregon). But it has mainly been tucked away. Because it is the only one of this kind, and didn't really 'go' with others I was exhibiting.
So, here it is, listed on eBay, as it's looking for a good home.
More details on the listing. Thank you for looking.

10 more dollhouse miniature (1:12 scale) paintings.
I'm doing an archive of all my art (no easy task). Currently working on my dollhouse miniatures. I'm up to page 4.
This is a link to this page on my 'artistjillian' website:
http://www.artistjillian.com/miniature-art-dh04
Graphic shown above is a pictorial summary of the 10 original paintings on that page. The page includes painting details. All are 1:12 scale.
Some of these were done for themed work for miniature enthusiasts (Paris/Tuscany) specifically for their dollhouses/room boxes.

New miniature watercolor painting - dollhouse size.
This painting is 2" x 1.5" approximately, and an original watercolor painting. One of my favorite subjects and past times.
"It's a tradition - scones, jam, cream and tea."
Would look lovely in any dollhouse or miniature setting, such as a room box - such as a tea room or cafe, especially English inspired.
It's currently available on eBay:

The trials and tribulations of painting in small sizes ...
Many of my paintings are miniature, and, as such, they can go 'missing' easily. This one, a watercolor, "North Adelaide Roses" has been out of sight and out of mind for quite some years.
I'm now offering it for sale on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291219887420?
It would fit nicely into any dollhouse or miniature room box setting.
1:12 scale, sold framed, size of art is approximately 1.75 x 1.5". There are lots of tiny details in this work.

ACEO + miniature painting all in one - Savannah Swamp
Original art. 1.2" x 2.35" (approx.) miniature gouache (transparent watercolor) painting on illustration board mounted onto an ACEO (2.5 x 3.5") with transparent photo corners. The ACEO has the swamp landscape continued onto the ACEO using ink.
ACEO (Art Cards, Editions & Originals), always 2.5x3.5"!
SFA - Small Format Art (nothing over 14")
"An experiment with ACEO creation. I combined a miniature dollhouse painting with an ACEO. The image is of one of the swamps found in my travels around Georgia. It was close to Savannah, Georgia - coastal. A fun work, and quite unique." By Jillian Crider.

Adirondack Chair - Lake of the Woods, Oregon - miniature watercolor painting.
I'm still trying to find time to do my dollhouse miniature paintings. This past week I managed to do this one of a bright red Adirondack Chair with matching geraniums at Lake of the Woods resort in Oregon. It's watercolor, 2" x 1.5"
I have 5 others currently listed on eBay.

And now, 3 more little paintings - dollhouse size original watercolors.
Yesterday, and today I've just completed 3 more miniature dollhouse (1:12 scale) paintings. All original watercolors from local scenes. 2" x 1 1/2" approximately.
I've listed them on eBay - you'll find them HERE.
This one is "Wash Day" a very old colonial ranch house a few miles from me.
I also have very good news for collectors. A frame maker I have dealt with for over 10 years, who specializes in miniature frames is working with me to offer frames for these new works of mine. Anyone who buys from me will be given this contact information.
When I was collecting miniatures, trying to frame them was very difficult until I found someone.
Anyway - take a look at my 3 newest.
"Wash Day"
"The Secluded Garden"
"On Hidden Pond"
Anyone in the Rogue Valley happen to know where they these locations are? The valley has such a treasure trove of wonderful, picturesque places.

2 more little paintings - miniature art for dollhouses.
I'm enjoying doing some miniature dollhouse paintings. I'm sticking with 2" x 1.5" format, in watercolors. I have reconnected with a wonderful lady who can be contacted for frames for them.
I did two more this past week, that is all I had time for. A local garden that caught my eye, with a 'wheelbarrow' full of flowers being hit by wonderful sunshine ("Fun In The Sun"). And an old pump house from one of the many nearby pear orchards.
I still have one romantic beach scene that didn't sell from the past week.
You can see my latest miniature paintings listed HERE on eBay.
Thank you for looking.

I just did these 7 little dollhouse scale 1:12 miniatures (watercolor paintings). Each is 2" x 1.5". This is "On Golden Pond" - an amazing 'capture' in a nearby area, Southern Oregon.
I've listed them here (click). Please take a look before the auctions end.
