"Welcome Home" A lamp lit in a window - small artwork.
Nothing is more heartwarming than the glow of a lamp in the window - a warm embrace of a 'Welcome Home' especially amid the cold chill and bare branches of winter.
This work compelled me to paint it when I saw such a scene one wintery night. It signals caring for the family member that has not yet returned home.
It appears slightly different in various lights due to the deep blue/black of the main colour, which extends onto the sides of the canvas.
SFA (Small Format Art) is great art to hang with meaning and love, for those empty little spaces in your home, perhaps in your foyer, by your lamp? Reminding others that you care. Unframed. Ready to hang. Able to be framed. Available on Bluethumb website (Au) ships world-wide.

SALE: Miniature art gold frames x2.

The oval opening is for 2.5x3" it says, but not sure of the accuracy of that. The frames exterior dimensions are 4 3/8 x 4 1/8" approximately. And the width of the frame is approximately 3/8" thick.
That thickness does NOT include the easel back. Backed with black paper. I have successfully removed the easel back, and covered it with paper to enter my paintings in miniature art society exhibitions. They appear to be a light-weight wood, so easy to add screws or hanging ring to the back to comply with show rules.
The gold finish is a very bold gold under some light, it is crackled/antiqued somewhat, but muted. It is not an all-over flat gold finish. The cold is definitely metallic in appearance. The focus would be on the art, not on the frame. I do love these. They are NOT a matching pair.
Buy securely through PayPal (button below).
Both for $13.00 USD
PRIORITY SHIPPING $5.95
Sorry, this listing is for continental US buyers only.
If you're located somewhere else, please contact me and maybe something can be arranged. I've been burned by USPS rates for things going outside continental US, lately. Thank you.

Vintage buttons gain new life - as collaged ACEO art - Parrot button.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291050915280
A new series of original collaged ACEOs.
"I found some 'interesting' buttons in a stash of vintage buttons, they weren't stunners but certainly too amazing to be hidden away amongst others. This red parrot button was fastened onto a Victorian ephemera image of a beautiful corseted lady, who did indeed have a parrot perched on her fingers. I added a real red feather to add a whimsical tail and decided to find some brilliant gold foil coins for a pirate and/or cigar box feel. This would be great as a collectible ACEO, or as part of a journal or larger collage."
